Common questions
What is a mass flow controller used for?
A mass flow controller (MFC) precisely measures and regulates the flow rate of gases in laboratory, semiconductor, industrial, and process applications, maintaining accurate flow regardless of pressure or temperature fluctuations.
What temperature range can Flow Chemist MFCs operate in?
Standard operating range is 0–50°C. Extended temperature ranges are available on request for high-temperature process environments.
What gases are your MFCs compatible with?
Both corrosive and non-corrosive gases, with wetted materials selected per application.
What's the difference between a Dedicated-Gas and Multi-Gas MFC?
A Dedicated-Gas MFC is calibrated and optimized for one specific gas. A Multi-Gas MFC is a single unit that can be field-configured across multiple gases.
Do you offer calibration and after-sales support?
Yes — calibration, installation and commissioning, preventive maintenance, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) are all available directly from us.
What's your typical lead time?
Lead times vary by configuration — request a quote with your flow range and gas requirement for an accurate delivery estimate.
Can I get a custom or OEM configuration?
Yes, our engineering team builds custom and OEM configurations around your specific process requirements.
Tell us what you're building
Share your flow range and gas requirement — our engineering team responds directly, no distributor in between.
